"Mokhtarnameh" (in persian: مختارنامه) is being produced by the SimaFilm Foundation, about the life of Mokhtar Saghafi (مختار ثقفي). This TV series was shot in many regions of Iran in 7 years.

Fariborz Arabnia (Mokhtar Arab), Reza Rouygari (Keisan Persian), Mahdi Fakhimzadeh (Omar ibn Sa'd) are the leading actors in the cast. It will be screened on Eid al Fitr (10 September  2010)

Shahriar Bahrani's "Kingdom of Solomon" (in persian: ملک سلیمان molk-e soleiman) is being produced by the Farabi Cinematic Foundation. It features the life of Prophet Solomon (as) based on the narrations from the Holy Quran.

The movie was shot in Rustamabad region of Gilan Province last summer and was concluded after nine months.

Amin Zendegani, Mahmud Pakniyat, Hossein Mahjub, Arjang Amirfazli, and Elham Hamidi are the leading actors in the cast.
