Iranian TV serial named Nardebaame Asmaan نردبام آسمان (The Ladder of the Sky) that is released on Ramadan days, is about Ghiath eddin Jamshid Kashani (in the west also known as Jamshid Kashi) [link] the great mathematist and astronomer in the 13th century AD.

He was the Pathfinder of the number Pi ( π ) and he discovered the Sinus of 1 degree and also has meny books about the solar system and made the Samarkand Observery.
